Obviously, with replaceable battery packs, they can both be charged at the optimal time and always be hanging around to serve as valuable electrical power storage for the grid. Vancouvers trolley bus fleet operates at 600 volts and god knows how many amps. i think this is the best idea simply because of the ease of such a plan.
