Electric cars a still a joke. They are either glorified golf cart city cars like this one or they are only for the very wealthy like the Tesla. Ted Kulongoski behind the wheel of Nissan’s prototype electric vehicle. Mr. Kulongoski wants to make Oregon the go-to state for electric vehicle production. So why has Oregon become a hotbed of activity for electric vehicles all of a sudden? Now add much cheaper materials and NiMH is now obsolete.
