Ride-sharer Grab to invest $700M in “Grab 4 Indonesia” 2020 master plan

Under the plan, Grab will invest US$700 million in Indonesia over the next four years to support Indonesia’s goal of becoming Southeast Asia’s largest digital economy by 2020. This will include seminars for aspiring technopreneurs and mentorship from Grab executives on developing sustainable business plans with social purpose.

EnerDel to Supply Batteries for Japanese Electric Bus Demo

The project was initiated last April by Hokuriku Electric Power Company, which is headquartered in Toyama, in partnership with the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. It is the third such announcement from the “Green Crossover Town,” an EnerDel-ITOCHU collaboration, previewed at EnerDel’s technical seminar last week in Indiana.
