ExxonMobil announced an oil discovery at the Uaru-2 well in the Stabroek Block offshore Guyana ( earlier post ). Uaru-2 will add to the previously announced gross discovered recoverable resource estimate for the block, which is currently estimated to be approximately 9 billion oil-equivalent barrels. ExxonMobil made two oil discoveries at Fangtooth-1 and Lau Lau-1 in the Stabroek block offshore Guyana. These discoveries will add to the previously announced recoverable resource estimate for the block, of 10 billion oil-equivalent barrels. These new projects continue to drive investment in Guyana’s growing economy.

ExxonMobil increased its estimate of the discovered recoverable resource for the Stabroek Block offshore Guyana ( earlier post ) to approximately 10 billion oil-equivalent barrels. miles (6 kilometers) east of Turbot-1 and was drilled in 5,928 feet (1,807 meters) of water by the Noble Tom Madden.
