Encased in metal and painted black, the battery looked much smaller than a Roadster pack and is said to be able to power the fortwo up to 100 miles. I wish the thing was for sale as-is. Just as we have become accustomed to plugging in our cell phones everyday, the habit of plugging in your car after returning home could easily become second nature. The only time involved is the few seconds it takes to plug in and later, unplug, your car and possibly press a button.
