In a simultaneous—and video linked—unveil in New York, London and Beijing, BMW introduced the production version of its i3 battery-electric vehicle on Monday. While I was aware of this trend — I see it loud and clear in my own neighborhood — I hadn’t realized how wide-spread this trend actually was in the US. In my own neighborhood I see several EV drivers with long cables from Level 2 chargers in the garage, and extension cords presumably from a 120 Volt outlet. Volker, Calvin G.
