Okaya Power Group an Energy storage solutions provider announced its entry into the electric two-wheeler business with the launch of a range of vehicles. The company’s ‘Electric 2Wheelers’ are available in four variants, both in ‘VRLA Lead Acid Battery’ and ‘Lithium Iron Phosphate’ (LFP) battery.

Japan categorizes NEVs as motorized four-wheel bicycles with four classifications based on power; most other Asia Pacific markets do not yet have a definition for NEVs, Pike says. Because of the solid separator in AGM batteries, they are considered to be sealed valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) batteries. Top speed is 45 km/h (28 mph).
