You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart. Notice in [link] that GM carefully avoids claiming to reduce CO2 by shifting to the grid, but leads people off the track by focusing on smog related issues. So is the management in Washinton DC. Oh, and it looks wayyyyy cooler than the Volt.
