A123 Systems has entered a battery supply agreement with Fisker Automotive to supply battery systems for the Fisker Karma Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV). The multi-year agreement provides that A123 is the selected battery system supplier for the Fisker Karma. Project Nina is expected to launch in 2012. Investment.

Nissan and Mitsubishi have been corporate allies since 2016, and the current-generation Nissan Rogue and Mitsubishi Outlander crossovers use a common platform. This latest news comes just after Fisker confirmed a partnership, allegedly with Nissan, to manufacture and share its Alaska electric pickup has dissolved.

Probably the most needed and least controversial proposed change is the elimination of the phaseout of the tax cap that begins in the quarter after a manufacturer sells 200,000 BEVs or PHEVs in the US. But all of these PHEVs have batteries of around 9 kWh and so they could easily be upgraded to 10 kWh to qualify for the tax credit.
