If you build a car as a "kit car" with no real factory, then yes, it will never be an economic success. To get the most mileage, one could not have the radio, the A/C, or the headlights on. Then consider that in order to actually go any farther than the neighbood store, one still had to have ANOTHER car. Call it the EV2?
