One wonders if the recent headway at MIT in building lithium ion cells using ?virus? Hybrids are a proven winner, but a series-hybrid (range extended EV), such as the Volt takes things to a much higher level with existing and "mostly" affordable tech. You guys go ahead and buy your 40 mile per charge GM golf cart.
