The prototypes featured wide-body designs, terminating aero kits, and extra cooling for the powertrain, regarded as a twin-turbocharged model of the Z06’s V-8.

Porsche will unveil the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid with controlled all-wheel drive and an electric range of 50 kilometers (31 miles) at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. The all-wheel Porsche achieves a top speed of 278 km/h (173 mph) and delivers a system torque of 700 N·m from stationary without hesitation.

Porsche views “hybrid” as being as synonymous with performance as with sustainability, pointing to the victory of the 919 Hybrid in the 24 Hours of Le Mans race in 2015 and 2016.

The R/T with the Stage 1 kit is quoted at 496 horsepower, while the more powerful Scat Pack with a Stage 2 kit produces up to 670 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque. Power matters, but range? No one cares!
