The four-door sedan will deliver 40 miles on a charge; a small gasoline engine will recharge the battery as it approaches depletion, extending its range by as much as 200 miles. GM is developing more fuel-efficient vehicles. That way you have a fair basis of comparison, you know, apples to apples and all that jazz.
