Reflections on Converting a 914 to an EV

Many things have passed through my mind over the past year and a half while converting this vehicle. I'm not entirely sure why, but ElectroAuto shipped #2 gauge cable with the AC kit instead of the standard 2/0 gauge cable that came with the earlier 914 DC kit. If I had to do things over, I might seriously use the DC kit.
