E15 blended gasoline is now available in four of North Dakota’s larger cities. North Dakota is the ninth state to offer the fuel blend containing 15% ethanol and 85% gasoline. The others are Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Nebraska, North Carolina, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced the availability of grant funding to implement projects which reduce emissions from the nation’s existing fleet of older diesel engines. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced the availability of $26 million in grant funding to establish clean diesel projects aimed at reducing emissions from the US’ existing fleet of diesel engines. Grant funds may be used for clean diesel projects that use: EPA-verified retrofit technologies or certified engine configurations.
