Volvo DRIVe S80 and V70 with 119 g/km. Volvo has introduced new DRIVe diesel versions of the S80 sedan and V70 wagon with CO 2 emissions of 119 g/km, corresponding to fuel consumption of 4.5 L/100km (52 mpg US). With the arrival of these two, Volvo now has five models available with emissions below 120 g/km.

For electric vehicles, the BBBA includes multiple proposed changes to IRC 30D, more commonly knows as the federal EV tax credit. Perhaps the mostly likely is the requirement for EVs to be assembled in the US in a union factory to qualify for an additional $4,500 tax credit. Tax Credit Becomes Refundable. More on this below.

Volvo has strengthened its DRIVe range by combining the DRIVe technologies with its sports-inspired R-DESIGN bodykit to offer C30, S40 and V50 models with low levels of emissions and the highest levels of visual appeal. DRIVe R-DESIGN all boast CO2-emissions of just 119 g/km, enabling customers to benefit from the low £35 per year tax band.
