It was a Mazda dealer that allowed Peter Dutton to wander around this week, rubbishing Labor’s plans to save everyone money on their fuel bills while saving the environment at least a tiny bit, and to drop his factless truth bombs about how good we are already and how much it’s all going to drive up the prices of our beloved utes.

The i10 with emissions starting from 119g/km CO2 and the i20 with emissions rating from 116g/km CO2 are proving popular with motorists looking to take advantage of the scrappage scheme which gives them a £2,000 discount on a new car when they scrap a car aged 10 years or older.

Mazda Ford Partner was reported to be developing Series PHEV based on Mazda 5 MPV platform. The resulting fuel efficiency improvements mean lower CO2 emissions and less fossil fuel consumption and, therefore, less pollution. Continues promotion and development of hydrogen as long-term strategy. No announced plans.
