EIB awards €17M to QEV to advance zero emissions transport in developing countries

QEV is a Spanish technology and engineering company that develops and manufactures electric drive components for Formula-E race cars, and electric drivetrain assemblies (‘e-kits’) for minibuses. In the Philippines, QEV recently equipped 10 new GET electric minibuses and converted numerous Jeepneys to use its fully-electric technology.

The University of Bremen is the scientific base of the international project known as EMeRGe (Effect of Megacities on the transport and transformation of pollutants on the Regional and Global scales). Ground measurements are being taken in China, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, the Philippines and Thailand, for example.
