Last week, 37 electric vehicle (EV) driver associations from 26 countries, including Plug In America, joined forces to create the Global EV Drivers’ Alliance, building a worldwide EV community. While the United States has been a leader in electric mobility in many ways, we also lag behind several countries in EV market share.

Drive Electric has advocated for a comprehensive plan to decarbonise transport for the past two years. If we do not prepare ourselves, we risk becoming the dumping ground for the world’s dirtiest right hand drive vehicles, instead of a quick adopter of better, cleaner technologies. .
