The Climate Change Commission has recently confirmed that incentives are necessary to continue to ensure the adoption of EVs. The changes to the Clean Car Discount appear designed to encourage even cleaner vehicles entering our fleet; this will mean more PHEVs and BEVs coming in and over time fewer petrol and diesel vehicles.

By reducing reliance on fossil fuels, EVs help to mitigate climate change and improve air quality.

The PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle), a subset of the electric car, combines a primary electric motor with a much smaller back-up engine fueled with a hydrocarbon/biofuel mix. (In In this paper PHEV refers solely to the long-range PHEV of 60 miles (100 km) electric-only range.) It is much more than that.

As more renewables come online, battery electrics just keep getting cleaner and greener. Although Climate change is a massive problem, it always comes down to money with the real decision makers so rite now you could say people use only steam reforming but we havent really developed H2 technology much have we???
