GM came in second for total hybrid sales in the month, with 1,807 units sold. The Tahoe, Yukon and Escalade two-mode full-size SUVs posted a combined 632 units, representing 8.4% The Saturn VUE hybrid posted 188 units, for 6.4% The Chevy Malibu Hybrid posted 197 units for 1.7% of all Civics sold.

The Civic Hybrid posted 2,869 units, down 23.9% of all Civics sold. Sales of conventional Civic models were down 54%. Sales of hybrid models as a component of total model sales. GM sold a total of 1,612 hybrids in March: 609 units of the Tahoe, Yukon and Escalade two-mode SUVs (7.3% of total sales).
