BAIC BJEV has been building its global R&D network in its core areas, i.e. electric and smart technologies, by establishing oversea R&D centers in Silicon Valley, USA; Aachen, Germany; Detroit, USA; and Barcelona, Spain. To continue the earlier theme, I’m looking forward to driving three new Chinese EV entries to the Australian market, all of them potentially offering outstanding value for money. I reckon the Porsche Taycan RWD remains the better EV to drive (despite lacking a bit of shove), but the Hyundai’s the car I’d rather live with.
