We’ve got a greenhouse gas-spewing Exxon-Mobil refinery just 5 miles from my house here in Torrance and 9 miles up Pacific Coast Highway sits the climate-changing Chevron refinery in El Segundo. I volunteer with the South Bay Environmental Services Center doing community outreach and presentations.

It stated that global warming “ is transforming where and how we live and presents growing challenges to human health and quality of life, the economy, and the natural systems that support us.’. So did Hoboken, New Jersey; New Britain, Connecticut; and Montgomery County, Maryland here in the USA. And that list is growing.
