The fuel economy, which is best in Touring mode, is rated by the EPA at 24 mpg city/29 highway/26 combined mpg. mpg, same as the EPA. We were pleased to cross the 30 mpg mark and surpass the EPA 29 mpg rating by so much. General Motors has announced a commitment to 30 new global electric vehicles by the year 2025.

Coal still supplies more power in the US than anything else, with natural gas next. However, building more coal and gas power plants to make miles for transport is counter-productive if the game plan is to reduce carbon output. At that rate, the cost to operate an electric vehicle is 2 cents per mile. Unfortunately, they don’t.
