Brooks, who is now working on his third robotics startup, Robust.AI , has written hundreds of articles and half a dozen books and was featured in the motion picture Fast, Cheap & Out of Control. The example I used at the time was, I think it was a Google program labeling an image of people playing Frisbee in the park. More context.

We live in an age in which it's cheap to take photos but will eventually be costly to store them en masse, as backup services set limits and begin charging for overages. Human computer interface research, in particular, has long taken cues from humans, leveraging crowdsourcing to create more conversational AI.

Google Maps routing with built-in charging planning works well, and I love that my recently viewed POIs across all my devices show up in the car’s map search — it feels like the future! It is just so easy.

Millions will plug-in their electric vehicles (EV), plug-in hybrids (PHEV) and fuel cell vehicles (FCV) at night when electricity is cheap, then plug-in during the day when energy is expensive and sell those extra electrons at a profit. Furthermore, changing the battery pack on say a Toyota Prius often costs a fortune, at least in most European countries, so such cars better be VERY cheap, but they’re not. In most conversions cost is about the same because of needless weight. In EV’s they do need replacing in about 5 yrs if done right.
