Participants in this coordinated global effort agree that zero-emission trucks and buses are essential to reducing transport emissions, mitigating climate change, improving air quality, reducing the use of fossil fuels and energy costs.

At the conclusion of the International Negotiating Committee on Mercury ( INC5 ) meeting in Geneva ( earlier post ), nations agreed on a global, legally-binding treaty to prevent mercury emissions and releases. The negotiations were initially looking to set thresholds on the size of plants or level of emissions to be controlled.

Winning this contract was a vital step in our strategy to deliver emissions-free, public-transport vehicles. It features an all-aluminum frame with appropriate weight distribution with an internally developed energy recovery system (during braking). The open-public tender was sought by four other established suppliers.
