Porsche’s Cayenne range follows the Panamera series ( earlier post ) in now featuring a plug-in hybrid as its new flagship model. Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid Coupé, Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid, 2019. The Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid and Turbo S E-Hybrid Coupé can drive for up to 40 kilometers (25 miles) with zero tailpipe emissions.

This will be the first all-electric compact SUV from Porsche, and is due to roll off the assembly line in the Leipzig site at the start of the next decade. Like the Taycan, the Macan compact SUV features 800-volt technology and is based on the Porsche PPE architecture (Premium Platform Electric) developed in collaboration with Audi AG.
