California, through its powerful Air Resources Board, recently allocated $10 million in rebates for e-bike buyers, a smaller-scale version of state or federal tax breaks for EV car buyers. But they add a hand throttle, either a grip-twist as found on motorcycles, or a button that can drive the electric motor even when you're not pedaling.

Lightning Motorcycles is already known for record-setting speeds. In 2011, the company’s LS-218 SuperBike set a landspeed record for production electric motorcycles at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, with a 347.55 The Southern California company is looking to speed things up again—this time with record-setting charging stops.

Automakers will push for changes in the California ZEV mandates. California’s zero emission vehicle (ZEV) regulations require volume automakers to sell a minimum number of PEVs each year in the state. By 2022, not even California will meet the 10% ZEV requirement. Electric motorcycles breakout.

He was also the owner of the California Poppy Porsche 914. Eventually moving to Alameda, California, the manufacturer was later renamed REVO Powertrains.

It is aggressively in talks with Portland General Electric Plug-In Charging Stations , ( POR ) and other states including Michigan, and California that are scrambling to offer incentives. As far as quick, Id give my left nut to own a Wrightspeed EV, so I could (quietly) blow the doors off Porsches and Ferraris.
