Competition is going to force them to produce a comfortable, usable, extended range EV for that price, and I will just have to wait. Motor Trend Magazine has extensive coverage of all cars online including road tests, free videos, buying guides, etc. o well I guess they think all yanks hate diesels.

The head of Chryslers ENVI division, Lou Rhodes, told AutoblogGreen this morning that Chrysler is marketing this battery-only version of the van to commercial fleet customers who typically have shorter range requirements. For extended range I guess one could carry a fairly modest generator set in the trunk to avoid ever being stranded. Motor Trend Magazine has extensive coverage of all cars online including road tests, free videos, buying guides, etc. my idea is that it would work the way propane tanks work now.
