GM says it is already looking ahead to the next generation of Volt-based vehicles — it unveiled the Cadillac Converj concept in January — and says costs will come down as the technology spreads to more models. Engineering proptypes enjoy a tax break. We are addicted to the gasoline tax both at the State and Federal level.
