He was granted 107 patents in Korea and 46 U.S. In 1969 he was tasked with helping to build transmission lines in Bangladesh that connected the country’s eastern and western electrical grids. After that, Hepburn continued to work on international projects in countries including Indonesia, Nepal, and Pakistan.
