The event was organised by Bright Automotive to showcase its IDEA - a 100mpg plug-in hybrid electric vehicle that it hopes to market to both Government and commercial fleets. The Chevrolet Equinox was also there, powered by a hydrogen fuel cell. All of the cars ran on electricity or biofuels in addition to petroleum.

Until then, we can always program the ESS to make what Lotus refers to as "more futuristic sounds for electric vehicles [that] can be created using sampled sounds and generated waveforms."
