We spent a week in the smallest Genesis sedan that is designed to take-on the BMW 3-series and Mercedes-Benz C-class sports sedans and found it was a lot of well-engineered car for the money. The lower edges of the fascia, with diffusers, house chrome-tipped dual horizontal exhaust ports. Maintenance – Three years/36,000 miles.

If you order the performance exhaust or go for the Z51 package, those numbers go up to 495 and 470. Below in the lower fascia are dual horizontal exhaust ports. Maintenance – Three years/36,000 miles. The simple reason is it can compete against luxury midsize SUVs from Mercedes-Benz, Audi and BMW, and beats them in several areas, not the least of which is costing $15,000 to $20,000 less. The dual level, horizontal LED tail lights wrap from the fender to the hands-free power lift gate, and sit above the lower fascia that features dual round exhaust ports and a continuation of the cross-hatch design. Due to the lower exhaust enthalpy of lower temperature engines using PPCI, it is difficult to produce intake boost with acceptable boost system parasitis.
