We spent a week in the smallest Genesis sedan that is designed to take-on the BMW 3-series and Mercedes-Benz C-class sports sedans and found it was a lot of well-engineered car for the money. Running on premium, the EPA rates fuel economy at 17 mpg city/24/highway/20 combined. miles per gallon, with a high of 30 mpg over a 40-mile stretch with the adaptive cruise control set at 65 miles per hour. Because of this we don’t address issues such as long-term reliability or total cost of ownership.

Fuel economy for the Recharge is 55 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) when you use electricity and gasoline and drops to 27 mpg when you don’t charge up the battery. The EPA’s green scores on the standard 0-10 scale, where 10 is best, include a 7 for Smog, 7 for MPG the Fuel Economy score and a 9 for CO 2 on Greenhouse Gas score.

The EPA has rated the GV80’s fuel economy at 21 mpg city/25 highway/23 combined. It wasn’t easy, but cracking 30 mpg on the open road was a nice surprise in this size of car. Because of this we don’t address issues such as long-term reliability or total cost of ownership. Genesis can rightfully say the 2021 GV80 RWD 2.5T
