Electrify America’s goal of an economically sustainable charging network will be easier to realize if the ZEV consumer market expands.

It can do this with little disruption to the way homes and industry purchase and use energy today. We can set a goal to have every new vehicle purchased be a PHEV. Then the package-purchaser of a PHEV linked with a solar or wind generator has essentially bought a vehicle and its fuel for the life of the vehicle.
