BMW unveils the production i3 in New York, London and Beijing; efficiency, dynamics and a supporting ecosystem of services

The high-voltage battery in the BMW i3 consists of eight modules (each with 12 individual cells), which together produce a rated voltage of 360 volts and generate approximately 22 kWh of energy. And if the battery has to be recharged at a public charging station, the driver is given a choice of available stations in the neighborhood.
