Lutz, who retired earlier this year, called the car Detroits "moon shot" and an attempt to wrest the mantle of innovation back from the Japanese. That way you have a fair basis of comparison, you know, apples to apples and all that jazz. AND the Detroit car companies were laughing. GM doesnt have a chance. Never again.
