In late 2008, BYD started selling the first production PHEV in China. Plans Saturn Vue PHEV-10. Aims to get Saturn Vue on road in 2010; no production goal. BYD said the F6DM (dual mode) sedan will go on sale in China in the fourth quarter for $20,000 to $30,000.The Plans Cadillac Converj, Opel Ampera, other versions.

They only have that many models because they use the same chassis and drivetrain to build 3 different cars, one branded as a Chevy, the next a Pontiac, then a Saturn, etc. One wonders if the recent headway at MIT in building lithium ion cells using ?virus? Forget the black helicopter conspiracies. Interesting in any case.
