Launching an imported CKD kit in India was never a long term solution. This includes 14,243 Pure Battery Electric Cars, 4,451 Plugin Hybrids, and 1010 Fuel Cell cars. The South Korean auto major spent around $900 million to replace the affected batteries. Also, the replacement batteries had to come all the way from Korea.

With the charger plugin at both work and home, the PakTrakr fuel gauge doesn't seem to drop below the 80% mark, so I think the batteries will last a little while. I called around to several Porsche repair shops and finally found Dan Hall's Auto Machine. The same thing helps when starting from stopped on a hill. Stay tuned.
