According to Fox Business , the Minnesota Auto Dealers Association has stated that the ban would not be suitable for resident transportation due to the state’s colder climate. Washington and Massachusettes have already accepted the ban, while New York, Vermont, and Oregon are expected to choose similarly.

The MY14 B-Class Electric Vehicle will be available beginning in mid-July to dealers in California; Connecticut; Maine; Maryland; Massachusetts; New Jersey; New York; Oregon; Rhode Island; and Vermont. The “D Auto” feature features radar-based recuperation, which adjusts speeds depending on traffic in front of the vehicle.

The ZEV regulations, which are now part of California’s comprehensive Advanced Clean Cars (ACC) program which also includes the LEV III tailpipe emissions standard, is the “technology-forcing piece” of the state’s regulatory package for light-duty vehicles.
