BMW Group and Croatia-headquartered electrification technology developer Rimac Technology have announced a long-term partnership to co-develop and co-produce high-voltage battery technology for selected BEVs. The two companies say their respective strengths will complement each other.

For its next-gen models, BMW is turning to Croatian electric hypercar specialist Rimac for EV batteries. Rimac’s tech division will supply batteries for BMW’s future electric cars.
