Even as news about electric vehicles (EVs) continues to dominate the headlines, CNG took a share of them last week as a result of Tata Motors’ reveal of the CNG-powered concept variant of the Tata Nexon. Demand for CNG-powered passenger cars and SUVs has bounced back.

The Cadillac Converj extended-range electric vehicle Concept uses the Voltec platform. I was able to spend 10 minutes driving a Saturn Aura sedan with an (HCCI) engine system. Some of these real-world offspring, like the Apple Lisa computer and the Hewlett-Packard LaserJet printer, took many of their root concepts from PARC; others, like the Ada computer language and the Intel 1103 dynamic RAM chip, are less closely related.
