Hydrogen Council study: hydrogen could contribute to 20% of CO2 emissions reduction targets by 2050

In Bonn, as global leaders gathered at COP 23, the Hydrogen Council coalition ( earlier post ) released a report developed with support from McKinsey quantifying the potential for hydrogen in the energy transition. According to the study , if deployed at scale, hydrogen could account for almost one-fifth of total final energy consumed by 2050.
