Audi e-gas plant qualified to participate in balancing market to stabilize grid

The Audi e-gas plant in the city of Werlte in Lower Saxony ( earlier post ) produces CO 2 neutral-fuel (synthetic methane from water, renewable electricity and CO 2 ); it now also contributes toward stabilizing the public power grid. This has resulted in the plant being accepted under the direction of grid operator Tennet TSO GmbH.

German Automakers Propsing Integrated Global Standard for a Modular Connector System for EV Charging

Automakers Audi, BMW, Daimler, Porsche and Volkswagen are proposing the standardization and global acceptance of a modular connector system for electric vehicle charging. The partners had earlier presented their early concept of a harmonization pathway for EV chargers at the California Air Resource Board ZEV Technology Symposium last year.
