The new 2015 Audi Q3 compact SUV will arrive in the US in the Fall of 2014, joining the Q5 and Q7. The Q3 will make its US debut at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit next week; Audi originally unveiled the Q3 in April 2011. The Audi Q3 will initially be powered by a 200 hp (149 kW) 2.0-liter

As promised ( earlier post ), Audi introduced the new Q7 at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit. Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg, Member of the Board of Management of Audi AG, Technical Development, in his remarks at the show. Later this year, Audi will introduce the Q7 e-tron quattro plug-in hybrid.

At the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show, Audi is presenting the Audi Q8 sport concept, a new performance-oriented take on the Q8 concept study introduced at the 2017 Detroit Motor Show. In the future, this combination will be used in many Audi models. Equipped with a 3.0 close to the engine.

Schaeffler is now applying 48V hybridization to an Audi TT. The drive for the “Schaeffler System 48 V” is based around an electrified rear axle which complements the front-wheel drive internal combustion engine. An additional belt-driven starter generator is connected to the engine which also operates at 48 V.
