Vancouvers trolley bus fleet operates at 600 volts and god knows how many amps. For extended range I guess one could carry a fairly modest generator set in the trunk to avoid ever being stranded. Im certain that they have customers that make 240 KW look like a 9v battery. I would prefer to recharge at home, and could do so.
