The front-wheel drive Mazda MX-5 Miata and Hyundai Veloster R-Spec are wonderful, handle great and are zippy, but are not in the same conversation with the much larger, rear-wheel drive, more powerful and heavier Corvette Stingray. The roof panel cleverly stores in the rear trunk, but doing so reduces your cargo area.

Has shown some concept fuel-cell PHEVs. Several after-market companies have done PHEV conversions of the Ford Escape hybrid and one has done a retrofit of the F-150 pickup -- see Where PHEVs Are and ICE-Conversions.) Mazda Ford Partner was reported to be developing Series PHEV based on Mazda 5 MPV platform.
