The RNG agreements will help UPS reach a key sustainability goal: 40% of all ground transportation fleet fuel from sources other than conventional gasoline and diesel by 2025. Natural gas is a proven alternative fuel to gasoline and diesel and is a key building block for our goal to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in our ground fleet.

Louisville Gas & Electric and Kentucky Utilities. The DOE’s Alternative Fuels Data Center provides a comprehensive database of federal and state programs that support EVs and infrastructure. The DOT is now soliciting nominations from State and local officials to assist in making designations for alternative fuel corridors.

Kenworth Truck Company and Peterbilt Motor Company will expanding their alternative fuel line-up by offering the Cummins Westport ISX12 G heavy duty natural gas engine ( earlier post ) for use in regional haul, vocational and refuse markets. The new vehicles will build on the 28.1% meter cab width tractor market.

Has shown some concept fuel-cell PHEVs. The expansion will add an assembly line to build lithium batteries for automotive applications.
