The last time we saw the Acura Integra was in 2001 as a coupe. Acura wants to rekindle that spirit with the all-new 2023 Integra, which was shown to the media at a Los Angeles event this week. Acura’s first hybrid SUV, the 2017 MDX Sport Hybrid ( earlier post ), will arrive at showrooms in early April with more than 30 additional horsepower and a 45 percent higher EPA city fuel economy rating as compared to the conventionally-powered MDX SH-AWD. The 2017 MDX was designed by the Acura Design Studio in Torrance, Calif.

Its closest competitor, the 2013 Acura ILX 2.4L, offers a peak of 170 lb-ft of torque, according to GM. Fuel economy numbers are not final, but the Verano Turbo is expected to be in line with Buick’s other turbocharged models. Pricing will be announced closer to the start of production in late 2012.
