Petrobras awards Technip/DOF Subsea JV ~$3.5bn in contracts for four new pipelay support vessels; ultra-deep water capabilities

Vard Holdings Limited, one of the major global designers and shipbuilders of offshore and specialized vessels, will be in charge of the design and construction of the four PLSVs. The hulls of these vessels will be built at Vard Tulcea in Romania and outfitted at Vard Søviknes in Norway. Delivery of the PLSVs is scheduled for 2016-2017.

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), IVECO (a brand of CNH Industrial) and ENGIE (Global Energy Player) are broadly collaborating to promote natural gas vehicles and infrastructure in Europe. At the “Salon de l’Auto” in Brussels, the Minister of Mobility and Environment announced a program for the improvement of air quality in Wallonia.
